Common questions

I can't redeem a deal

Make sure the deal hasn't expired (countdown on the post screen) and your code isn't already used. Your code is locked for 4 hours after you tap "Redeem Now" — show it to the store within that window.

The store says my code doesn't work

Ask the store to enter the code manually if scanning fails. If it still doesn't work, email us with the code (it looks like NB-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) and we'll investigate.

I want to delete my account

Open the app → Profile → Delete Account. This soft-deletes your data; we permanently erase it after 30 days per CCPA. To request immediate erasure, email us.

I'm a store owner — how do I claim my business?

Open the app, search for your store, tap "Claim my business," and verify using one of two methods:

  • Voice call (recommended) — we place an automated call to the phone number listed for your business on Google. A robotic voice reads a six-digit code twice; enter it in the app within 5 minutes. You don't need a personal phone, just access to the listed business line (landline or mobile, both work).
  • Document upload — upload 1–3 documents proving ownership (business license, utility bill in the business's name, commercial lease, or tax registration). A Paasya admin reviews within 48 hours.

If voice verification keeps failing (e.g. the listed number is wrong on Google or the line is unanswered), switch to document upload — both paths sit on the same claim screen. Most voice verifications complete instantly; document review takes up to 48 hours.

The voice call didn't reach me

Make sure the number Google lists for your business is correct and that someone can pick up at that line during the 5-minute code window. If Google has no number listed for your store, the voice option is hidden — use document upload instead. Confirm the masked phone number shown on the claim screen looks right (last two digits visible) before tapping "Initiate Voice Call".

Voice verification is locked out for my store

To prevent abuse, three failed attempts trigger a 30-minute lockout, six trigger a 24-hour lockout, and nine permanently disable the voice option for that specific claim. Document upload is always available even when voice is locked out. Email us if you believe the lockout was triggered in error.
